Dues: |
$80 per scout year, paid in January. This covers the Annual BSA Registration and Insurance Fees ($75), Rank Advancement patches, training, etc. Scout families may also purchase Boys Life if they wish ($15). |

$90 per scout year, paid in January to cover incidental costs of monthly campouts and outings (Reservations, Food, Travel, etc.) |

Annually (October/November) we sell Holiday Wreaths, Poinsettias and Christmas Cacti to supplement the dues for the cost of operating the troop (Scout minimum goal is $600 in sales) . Scouts can cover the costs of their dues and activity fees by selling the minimum and get additional money in their scout accounts for the year by selling more than the minimum. | |||
Troop Outings |
We go weekend camping and do outdoor activities monthly - year round. Participating in the camping outings is important for rank advancement and is strongly encouraged. The Troop Calendar (left menu) lists all the Troop outings and activities for the year. Campout locations and activities are selected by the Scouts at our Annual Planning Conference every spring. | |||

High Adventure |
Each summer we try to schedule a High Adventure outing for scouts age 13 and older. In July 2021, ten scouts and two adults completed a 12-Day Trek at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, hiking 118 miles in 10 days. In August, 2022, twelve T207 scouts and four adults participated in the "Out Island Adventure" at Scout Sea Base in the Florida Keys. | |||
| Stengths of T207 |
Established in 1937, we are a strong, welcoming, boy-led troop that plans, executes and evaluates our troop program monthly. We perform community service projects, which support our Chartered Organization, the Village of Fairport and a host of other community agencies. We are blessed to have our own amazing facilities in the basement of the First Congregational United Church of Christ for the past 85 years. They allow us use of the entire space for a large troop room, three patrol rooms, a quartermaster room to store all of our gear, and a scoutmaster lounge. We’re proud of the 156 scouts who earned the rank of Eagle Scout and all others who have demonstrated growth and leadership through the years. We emphasize FUN while affording boys opportunities for rank advancement, leadership and developing skills to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes, in accordance with the values of the Scout Oath and Law. | |||
| Adult Participation: |
We enjoy strong support and involvement from our parents, because the troop's success depends upon it -- each adult assisting the troop where they are most comfortable and have the time for. Parents assist as either Uniformed Leaders (Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters) or as part of the Troop Committee, which oversees delivery of quality troop program, administrative requirements, and assisting the troop's scout leadership. Your assistance is both needed and much-appreciated, and there are many roles that allow you to share as much time as you are comfortable. The time spent with your scout, camping or helping the troop as a Committee member, is rewarding on many levels. |
